Having been in the business since 1989, I have seen some incredible changes in our industry. When not in the store I am often on the road visiting some of the major industry players learning all I can to be able to present the latest and greatest to our customers. In addition, this knowledge helps me as I visit various state and national organizations to teach others what I have learned. All of this helps in the training and educating of our staff to make sure our customers have access to the newest technology in our frames and lenses.
My goal with Heritage Vision Center is to make sure every customer is treated with respect. This means that we want to value your time by bringing frame choices to you that will reflect today's trends while also taking into consideration complementary colors, as well as which frame shapes work best with each face shape and, more importantly, your prescription.
I also want our frame choices and lens options to be the best in the industry. For example, did you know that progressive lenses have been around for half a century? Progressive lens designs have changed a lot over these past five decades. And the changes in technology the last five years have allowed for lenses that are custom made to your prescription and to how the frames actually sit on your face. Sure, we still have access to the older progressive designs that many of our competitors use on a regular basis and will sell you the older technology if that is what you want. But the digitally designed progressives offer so much better vision. That's probably why over 90% of the progressive lenses are digital progressive lenses. Come let me or my staff explain the difference in person. I think you will agree with our customer that these lens designs are quite impressive.
